Superb! I was in search for a new dentist as ours (with him over 30 years) deservingly retired. As it happens, I developed severe tooth pain. I read many reviews and chose Dr, Yu's office with fingers crossed. His office staff and assistant were amazing, kind, professional, knowledgeable and very helpful. Great first impression! They got me in same day to see Dr. You. Very short wait time and I was in X-ray then right to a chair. Dr. Yu took time and explained everything to me. He was thorough, careful and gentle. So happy to have found my way to this office! Also, very reasonably priced and absolutely no up-charging!

My dentist office of many years near my Yucaipa home first had my hygienist leave, then my dentist left the area awhile back and it took me awhile to find a new dental office I was satisfied with. Calimesa Dental is at least as good, if not better (as they are more modern), then my former dentist. I just moved to Yucaipa a year ago so I was a new patient with an abscess on my gum above my eye tooth. Dr You and his staff were very professional and I was able to get an appointment right away. Dr You spent a great deal of time with me after X-rays to explain the work that needed to be done and gave me a quote then and there. Not only am I pleased with the price, I am very happy I landed in his office and not elsewhere as I’ve had horrible experiences with Dentists in the past. Dr You’s demeanor is friendly and calm. His staff is likewise. The office has a very soothing decor that I greatly appreciated. He examined the area very gently and with NO pain! I have quite a bit of work ahead of me as the tooth in question is an anchor for my existing bridge; but I feel quite confident in Dr You and his staff that all will work out well. I’ll update this review after all work is done. UPDATE: I just had a thorough teeth cleaning with Kimberly at Dr You’s office and I was very impressed with her. She was gentle and kind. My experiences with dental hygienists have NOT been pain free. Kimberly did an excellent job with NO pain whatsoever. I highly recommend her and I will be a customer for life!

Yesterday I had cleaning & X-rays w/Hygienist Kimberly. She didn’t gag me with the X-ray apparatus, she explained everything before doing it. She is confident in her skills. I’ve been at Calimesa Dental for over 10 years, so when I heard Dr Ramos was retiring I was so nervous to say the least. Fortunately, Dr You and his family are so amazing that it almost makes up for the fact that Dr Ramos up and left us 😂 But honestly, I remember watching Dr Ramos walk with Dr You and take him around with clients so he could get a feel for things and that was the best thing he could’ve done in my eyes. There are obviously changes, but the care and service is still really great. So thank you Dr Ramos for teaching him how to wiggle gums while giving a shot to make my cry baby self feel better! And thank you Dr You for actually putting in place the things he showed you about his patients. 10/10 from me.

I had a serious tooth ache which turned out to be a major infection. Dr. You and his staff were incredible and were able too perform a root canal procedure and get rid of all of my pain. They are an awesome place to go for all of your dental work.

Best dental experience I have received so far! 1: Their emergency services are top-notch! I texted their emergency number on a Sunday when I was in excruciating pain. After I explained what the problem was, Dr. David prescribed meds that helped with the pain, which I was able to receive that same day. Way better than going to the emergency room or urgent care! 2. They got me in for a tooth extraction very fast when the pain was unbearable. I love how they make room for urgent situations. 3. No unnecessary fillings. Most dentists I've been to recommend a ridiculous amount of fillings. This office will only recommend fillings if you absolutely need them. 4. They see kids too so all of my family can go to the same place. 5. They take time to teach you how to care for your teeth. I asked for help with flossing and Ms. Kim helped teach my kids how to floss. 6. Janet's cleaning is so good. She makes you feel relaxed, her cleaning isn't harsh and she gets the job done. 7. The older lady that first attended to me when I got to the clinic (sorry can't remember her name) really helped answer some concerns I had. She is so nice! 8. Every one is so nice and friendly. They feel like extended family at this point. I don't normally leave reviews but I had to for this one. Thank you, Calimesa Dental!

Everyone is friendly and welcoming. The waiting area is comfortable and Covid complient. I saw Janet today and she did everything she could to make my cleaning pleasant. Dr. You came in completed my exam but was friendly and open. Instead of seeing how fast he could get you out the door like a lot of dentist. The entire staff at this dentist office is so friendly and welcoming. I took a good 13 years off from the dentist, my mouth was a basket case and let’s just say I was terrified but also so embarrassed how bad I let my teeth get. Going to the dentist doesn’t have to be a traumatic experience! I FELL ASLEEP getting my filling today. He knows how to make everything hurt the least amount possible. Plus, he’s super nice and always remembers what you’re up to and what’s going on with your family.
